What NABEV Certifies
NABEV operates an independent alcohol‑content certification program governing the use of the NABEV NA™ and NABEV AF™ certification marks.
NABEV NA™ Certified

Finished product contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV)

Alcohol content verified through independent laboratory testing

Certification aligned with applicable FDA and TTB labeling requirements

Certification applies to approved products, SKUs, or locations
NABEV AF™ Certified

Finished product contains 0.0% ABV

Ethanol not detected above the defined laboratory limit of quantitation (≤0.05% ABV)

Who Can Be Certified
Certification is available to organizations responsible for the manufacture, import, handling, or sale of non‑alcoholic beverages.
Eligible applicants include:

Importers acting as the U.S. responsible party

Restaurants and bars

Grocery, retail, and e‑commerce sellers

Certification is granted only for approved products, SKUs, or locations , not entire companies by default.
